All these locations were deployed with access control systems that were from three different brands with HID Prox Readers. Now, handling three different types of access control systems with varied software present at all the different locations was a complicated & huge task. Managing the systems was the most challenging part for them as it was becoming very difficult to manage the details of all the employees & reports related to various other events.

Smart-I has effectively installed an integrated access control solution at the central location of Ranbaxy, which is commissioned by our system integrator, Tyco Fire & Security India Pvt. Ltd., as mentioned above. Smart-I's Smart XS- NG Plus, which is a 2 door/2 reader controller, has been deployed with the existing HID Prox Reader.
Ranbaxy's research & development centres are located in different areas in Gurgaon, with the connectivity of lease lines. The Access Management Software can be controlled from any place. Because of the solutions offered by Smart-I, now instead of using three different software, Ranbaxy is currently using a single software that is deployed in the central location. The administrator is now able to configure all the security settings, and the varied types of reports can be generated for all the locations from the central head office.
Moreover, there is no master-slave concept limitation here, so the controller is now responsible for taking all the decisions related to the security and authorization of the organization. The access control system comes with many features for strictly restricting any entry from unauthorized persons, such as access level, anti-passback time zone, etc.
